SAVATREE'S SENIOR TEAM LENDS A HELPING HAND TO A LOCAL NEW JERSEY ZOOMay 24, 2010—Senior managers from SavATree took part in a community service project on Tuesday, May 18 in the Bergen County Zoo in Paramus, NJ. SavATree's staff donated their time and provided maintenance and developmental pruning around animal habitats and throughout the zoo.

"We recently called SavATree to come out, give us an estimate on pruning and to make some suggestions about how to deal with our lawn. We loved Steve (the arborist) and went ahead and hired SavATree on the spot. As Hurricane Irene approached we, as customers, received an email giving us a special code that we could use in case of a hurricane-related emergency. And boy did we need that code. During the hurricane, a broken tree got tangled in our electrical wires and began pulling them down. I called the emergency number and immediately spoke to someone at Savatree who helped me assess the situation. I know that they must have been swamped with calls (and that many of them were calls about situations much more serious than ours), but I can't tell you what a relief it is to have that tree cut off above our electrical line and to know it's not going to fall and yank our service off the side of the house. The tree is gone, our electrical service is safe, and Savatree has some new and very dedicated customers."
