Brock Eastlund operates out of SavATree’s Spring Lake Park, MN branch. He provides comprehensive tree, shrub, lawn, tick and deer services to properties in St. Paul, Mendota Heights, Sunfish Lake and West St. Paul, MN. Brock, along with the rest of the team out of our Afton branch, is uniquely qualified to treat landscape conditions that occur in the St. Paul area. Brock joined the SavATree team in 2016, bringing with him several years of experience working with clients in the metro area, providing high-quality tree care and lawn care, including turf grass management.
Education:
Brock is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.

Pruning Class at Green Valley Garden Center. Ramsey, MN
March 9, 2020 – Thanks to Green Valley Garden Center in Ramsey, MN for inviting us to teach about tree/shrub pruning today. Attendees learned about different types of pruning cuts and methods, timing of pruning, and implementing proactive management techniques for their trees!
SavATree Consulting Group CAI Event in Eagan, MN
On July 11th, SavATree sponsored a Community Associations Institute event at Bald Man Brewing in Eagan, MN. SavATree donated a food truck for the evening, providing property managers with great food and insight into Actionable Tree Intelligence for multi unit housing clients throughout Minnesota.
Arbor Day Festival at Saint Catherine University in St. Paul, MN
On Thursday April 25th, SavATree sponsored an Arbor Day event along with the Student Senate at Saint Catherine University in Saint Paul, MN. Brock attended and SavATree provided White Pine saplings and sponsored planting around the university’s quad. All of the trees were planted in gravel beds, making this a unique event. SavATree partnered with Jim Nayes, owner of Living Sculpture trees based out of Sunfish Lake, MN. Trees that are planted from gravel beds establish quicker and have a low incidence of stem girdling roots and are able to utilize water more effectively due to an increase in fibrous roots. After planting, we applied ArborKelp to aid with establishment of the 5 trees that were planted (3 Blue Beech, 1 Kentucky Coffee Tree, 1 American Yellow Wood.) The new trees will be added into the existing inventory provided by the SavATree Consulting Group. Diversification of the tree canopy is key, another example of how SavATree is partnering with Saint Catherine University to further advance the strategic vision for the campus and the community. SavATree at the University of St. Thomas Sustainability Fair in St. Paul, MN
On April 24, 2019, Brock and fellow arborist, Scott Anderson, spent the afternoon at the University of Saint Thomas in Saint Paul, MN. The fair showcases sustainable employers on campus, and how students can get involved and engaged with sustainable practices. Many students took interest in the tree inventory that the SavATree Consulting Group provided last year, further showcasing how the The University of Saint Thomas and SavATree are committed to preserving trees through actionable tree intelligence.
