Steven Geist

Consulting Arborist

Steven provides expert tree and shrub care consulting services to properties throughout the lower Westchester area. He holds a B.S. in Plant Pathology and Botany from Colorado State and is a consulting arborist with Tree Risk Assessment Qualification. His expertise allows him to assess tree health, diagnose issues, and provide strategic guidance for long-term landscape management. Steven is the former president of the American Society of Consulting Arborists. When he’s not working, he enjoys cycling and caring for his antique cars.

Education:

Bachelor of Science in Plant Pathology and Botany concurrently awarded from Colorado State University, 1983

Why did you become an arborist?

"After school, I had this dream to do arboricultural expert witness work. I wanted to provide expert information for complex landscape challenges."

"I have participated in over 25 Tour des Trees cycling events, cycling over 13,000 miles and raising over $175,000 to benefit the TREE Fund."

Roots in the Local Community:

"Admitted as an arboricultural expert in the district courts of Arapahoe, Boulder, Denver, Douglas, Jefferson, Larimer, Mesa, and Routt counties."

Personal/Fun Fact:

"I have a small antique car collection, 64 Impala SS convertible, 68 Mustang, 71 Chevrolet Pickup."
