Andy provides expert tree and shrub care to homeowners throughout Austin, TX, and nearby areas. As an ISA Certified Arborist with over 30 years of experience, he is dedicated to preserving the health and beauty of local landscapes. Andy founded Central Texas Tree Care, which later merged with SavATree to establish the Austin branch. Now focused on sales, Andy continues to serve his valued clients.

Personal:

Andy worked as a consulting arborist with several utility companies before settling into a position as a professional arborist in private tree care in Northern California. Andy met his wife and moved to Austin in 1999, where he started Central Texas Tree Care in 2001. After running the business successfully for 23 years, Andy partnered with SavATree and served as Market Leader for SavATree's Austin branch for two years. Now, he has moved back into a full-time sales position to better serve his valued customers every day. Andy is a veteran, having served honorably in the USARNG infantry from 1986-1992. Andy is the proud father of two successful adult children, both raised in Austin.

I have been using SavATree/Central TX Tree (Andy Johnson) for the work on my 6 large OAKS for many years. They always do a wonderful job. Andy comes by first to assess the needs of the trees and sends his very experienced crew to do the work within a day or two. They are careful of the roof and yard and always clean up everything well. We had several oak trees that appeared dead and others that were dying. Our neighbor referred us to SavATree. They give a free evaluation and an estimate for their services. We set up an appointment and a certified arborist was out in a few days to see our situation. He confirmed that several oaks were dead and that others did have oak wilt. I had an excellent experience with SavATree from start to finish. The arborist who came out to walk the property and prepare the quote was quite knowledgeable, informative, and listened to any concerns or input that I had. The crew that did the work was on time, courteous, careful to follow the plan, and did a thorough job of cleaning up.
