Matt is a fourth generation Floridian who is married with two kids who all enjoy the outdoors. His hobbies include fishing, mountain biking, running, hiking, and travelling.

Why Did You Become an Arborist?

“I started in the Forestry Industry as a wildland firefighter. I knew I wanted to stay in the outdoor industry but wanted a more family friendly career. I studied for my ISA Arborist certification while working as a Forestry Consultant and my Arborist career took off from there.”

Chevelle helped us with our oak trees and a large crepe myrtle that needed trimming. He provided advice and explained exactly what they would do with the trees and why and provided reasonable price for the work. Will definitely use this SavATree again.

I had roots coming up out of the ground on a water oak tree . I wanted to make sure I had explored all options before I had it cut down. Jason came out and looked at the tree and gave me his professional assessment. He was timely and professional. Instead of just telling me it had to be cut down he explained all the reasons why. I truly felt he cared about what he was doing.

Had a great experience with Matt’s crew. They trimmed about 20 trees on my property and cut down 3. Very quickly and cleaned up after themselves. Left no trace. Just clean trees! Highly recommend them!

I cannot recommend Sav-a-Tree enough. They did an outstanding job pruning our Live Oaks and Magnolia trees. The trees look so much better all cleaned up.
