Courtney Johnson

Courtney is a Board Certified Master Arborist serving homeowners like you out of SavATree's Hopkins, Minnesota branch. She earned a B.S. in Plant Science and Ecology from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Courtney is passionate about promoting proper tree care practices, building trust with her clients, and creating beautiful, healthy landscapes.

Industry Involvement/Awards:

"I am an active volunteer in our local community including at the MN chapter's ISA Tree Climbing Championship, the MSA Climbing Workshop, and the MSA Fall Conference. I am also an active sitting member of the Minnesota Society of Arboriculture's Programs and Education Committee."

Why did you become an arborist?

"I always knew I wanted to pursue a career in the green industry. It wasn’t until I was a sophomore in college that I discovered that I wanted to work with trees. They provide so many benefits to our urban environment, and I take great pride in helping my clients create and maintain their beautiful landscapes by promoting proper tree care practices and proactive approaches."

"As an arborist, I focus on building trust and giving honest, straightforward advice. I take the time to understand what my clients need and come up with solutions that work best for them and their trees. Every tree and property is different, so I make sure my approach is personalized and easy to understand. My goal is to keep things simple while building strong, long-lasting relationships."

Personal/Fun Fact:

"I grew up in Lakeville where I played hockey and tennis throughout highschool. I now reside in Bloomington with my wonderful fiancé. When I'm not at work I enjoy spending my time fishing, kayaking or paddleboarding at our family cabin up north."
