Ross provides comprehensive tree and shrub services to homeowners like you throughout the southern Westchester County area. Ross holds a B.S. in Plant Pathology and Viticulture and a M.S. in Plant Pathology. As an ISA Certified Arborist, Ross combines scientific knowledge with practical solutions to ensure your trees thrive for generations. Born and raised in South Africa, Ross has industry experience in South Africa and Italy as well as New York. He enjoys rock climbing, music, and playing musical instruments.

Qualifications:

Ross worked in a nursery for grapevines during his undergraduate studies, working with pruning and plant health care. Post-graduation Ross moved to Veneto, Italy, working in the field pruning grapevines for the winter/spring season. Ross then moved to Auburn, Alabama to pursue a master’s degree in plant sciences.

Education:

Ross earned his Bachelors of Science degree from Stellenbosch University, South Africa, majoring in Plant Pathology and Viticulture. He then earned his Master’s of Science degree from Auburn University, Alabama, Majoring in Plant Pathology.

Personal:

Ross was born and raised in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. He enjoys rock climbing, martial arts, playing musical instruments and wine tasting.

Scot at Savatree and his amazing staff did a great job on our very sentimental project. My mom and dad planted a red Maple tree in our front yard when we moved into our new house 64 years ago - it just kept growing and growing and now takes up almost the entire front lawn. I played in that tree with my brothers and all our kids and cousins as well over the years - it means the world to us....

Juliet was great to work with. She listened to our needs and made excellent recommendations. Was flexible and knowledgeable. Alex and the crew did a great job trimming and removing our trees. They knew exactly which branches to prune for aesthetic purposes and to maintain tree health.
